Pre-launch legal draft
Draft Refund Policy
Explains mistaken-purchase refunds, exceptions, requests, and entitlement handling for planned one-time digital purchases.
This is a pre-launch draft, not legal advice. Payments are disabled and the policy requires review under the laws of the actual operating and sales regions before launch.
Refund essentials
- A mistaken-purchase request may be made within 7 days only if the account has not opened any paid content.
- Duplicate charges, missing entitlement, erroneous purchases, major technical issues, material mismatch, and statutory rights are handled separately.
- After a full refund, the full-version entitlement granted by that order is revoked.
- Refunds normally return to the original payment method; timing varies and may take about 10 days.
- Effective date
- To be confirmed before launch

1. Scope and free trial
This policy applies to one-time digital-content purchases planned for the Likosei Studio Web App. Products are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically.
A free trial of selected content is provided so a parent or guardian can assess content, difficulty, device, and browser suitability before purchase.
2. Mistaken-purchase refunds
A mistaken-purchase request must be submitted within 7 days after purchase and the purchasing account must not have successfully opened any paid content. Both conditions are required.
Paid content is considered opened when the account first successfully displays a full-version page, paid-only activity, game, or other content requiring a valid entitlement. Product pages, free trials, sign-in, and failed entitlement checks do not count.
3. Personal reasons excluded after use
After paid content has been opened, refunds are generally not provided for these personal reasons:
- Changing your mind.
- Having completed the reading or experience.
- The child is not interested.
- Finding the content too easy or too difficult.
- Personal preference.
4. Exceptions regardless of use
The following are handled separately based on evidence, payment-provider procedures, reasonable technical support, and applicable law; paid-content use is not the sole test:
- Duplicate payment.
- Payment succeeded but entitlement was not granted.
- An erroneous purchase caused by a system error.
- A major technical issue still prevents reasonable use of core paid content after support.
- Actual content materially differs from important purchase-page descriptions.
- Lemon Squeezy handles the matter under its payment, refund, or chargeback rules.
- Applicable law requires a refund or another remedy.
5. How to request
Email likoseistudio@gmail.com with the purchase Email, order number, purchase date, product name, and reason. For technical issues, also include the device, operating system, browser, and reproduction steps.
Do not send passwords, full card numbers, security codes, or other complete payment-card information.
6. Review, method, and timing
We may request reasonably necessary order or technical information and first try to restore entitlement or resolve the issue. Approval is assessed under this policy, Lemon Squeezy procedures, and applicable law.
Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method. After submission by the payment provider, a bank or card issuer may need several business days and the refund may take about 10 days to appear.
7. Entitlement after refund
After a full refund is completed, the full-version entitlement granted by that order is revoked. A new purchase is required for future use.
8. Statutory rights
This policy does not exclude or restrict non-waivable consumer rights. Applicable law controls where it conflicts with this policy.
