Draft Privacy Policy

Distinguishes data handled by the main site, current Web App, and planned Supabase account and Lemon Squeezy payment services.

This is a pre-launch draft, not legal advice. Accounts and payments are not live and the policy must be updated after final data flows are confirmed.

Privacy essentials

Initial accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, not by children.
Children are not asked for names, birth dates, addresses, Email, or telephone numbers.
There are currently no ads, third-party ad tracking, or behavioral analytics tools.
Full card details are not stored directly; planned payment data will be handled by Lemon Squeezy.

1. Current main site

The main site is a static Astro product site. It does not currently create accounts, process payments, or store entitlements. A future host may log request time, IP address, browser, and errors as operationally necessary; the production host is not selected.

When you contact us, we process the Email, message, and problem details you choose to provide. Support is likoseistudio@gmail.com.

2. Current Web App

The current Web App offers free trial reading, animation, games, language settings, and some offline behavior. Accounts and production payments are not live.

localStorage or IndexedDB may store language, reading progress, and interface preferences. PWA caches store programs, images, audio, and book data for offline use. Clearing browser data may remove these local records.

Offline assets in device caches are distinct from future server-side account, entitlement, or progress data.

3. Data planned for Supabase accounts

Account features are planned again but are not live. Supabase is expected to process:

Parent or guardian Email, account identifier, and Email verification status.
Information needed for sign-in, password reset, and account security; passwords are handled by Supabase authentication.
Purchase and order linkage, entitlements, and reading progress.
Technical errors and basic device/browser information where needed for support and security.

4. Data planned for Lemon Squeezy payments

A Supabase Edge Function is planned to create secure checkout; Lemon Squeezy will process payment and send verified results by webhook so the backend can update entitlement.

Purchase Email, order/product identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, refund/chargeback status, and tax information may be processed. Likosei Studio does not directly store full card numbers or security codes.

5. Children and parents

The product is for children ages 2–5, but accounts, payments, support, and refunds must be handled by a parent or guardian. Children do not create accounts in the initial version.

We do not ask children for names, birth dates, addresses, Email, or telephone numbers, and do not serve targeted advertising to children.

6. Voice features

We do not claim voice data can never leave the device because browser or operating-system speech services may process it under their own terms. If audio is uploaded, stored, or a new speech service is added, this policy and notices will be updated before use.

7. Retention, security, transfers, and providers

Data is retained only as needed for service, transactions, support, security, and legal duties; final periods must be confirmed before launch. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service is guaranteed absolutely secure.

Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, Email, or hosting providers may process data in different countries. Final providers, regions, and safeguards must be confirmed and documented before launch.
